ABOUT

My artwork can be characterized as geometric pattern meets lush painterly color. I have always been drawn to hard-edge painting and vivid, symbolic color use. Pure abstraction or encoded symbolism is also an on-going commitment in my painting and drawing practices. Influences and on my work vary including: minimalism, geometry, light, color, shape, and formal considerations. Many of the series I have been working on the last ten years involve a reductive abstract process, distilling external perception, feeling, and emotion into pictorial statements. I have an abundant inventory or artwork available including: multiple works on linen, canvas, and works on paper.
